TAOTLE JÄRELMAKSU
BKX 300 is Benelli's new adventure dedicated to the young generations of riders, a motorcycle designed for those who want to move freely, undertake new routes, take new roads. An all-round two-wheeler, easy and light, designed to offer maximum handling and control in all conditions, a guarantee of fun both on asphalt and off-road. A motorbike created for those who want to approach the world of adventure and are beginners, but also for those who do not want to give up the pleasure of riding a compact, dynamic motorbike with an innovative style.
In fact, the BKX 300 was born in the heart of the Benelli Style Center in Pesaro, which gave this two-wheeler simple, clean but at the same time extremely refined lines, offering it a look capable of catching attention at first glance. This is also thanks to an extremely original light unit, which in the front part presents a design of the light unit and in particular of the DRL, modern and captivating, shared with the road version, while at the rear there is a "combo" solution where lights are integrated position, stop and direction indicators.
The beating heart of the BKX 300 is brand new , a 292.4cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder four-stroke engine with a 42mm diameter throttle body, an evolution of the current 250cc already present in the TRK 251 and Leoncino 250 to which, in addition to the increase of displacement, updates have been introduced in the thermal part, connecting rod and transmission. Thanks to the increase in the bore it was possible to increase the diameter of the intake and exhaust valves and consequently redesign the combustion chamber. The balancing countershaft has also been redesigned to reduce vibrations and increase reliability. The exhaust system is new with a long manifold, in favor of the torque curve, to obtain a more full-bodied delivery. Also new is the clutch with torque servo and anti-slipper, which allows the force of operating the clutch lever on the handlebar to be reduced, as well as making gear changes more fluid. The engine, in Euro 5+ configuration, delivers a maximum power of 29.2 HP (21.5 kW) at 9000 rpm and 24.5 Nm (2.5 kgm) at 7000 rpm. Distribution is chain, double overhead camshaft, 4 valves and 6-speed gearbox.
Like its road sister, the BKX 300 features a chassis designed to maximize the bike's handling, with a double cradle frame in steel tubes, capable of guaranteeing resistance and reliability on any route. At the front we find an upside-down fork with stems of 41 mm in diameter and offering a travel of 180 mm, while at the rear there is an oscillating swingarm and monoshock with progressive leverage adjustable in spring preload and travel of 180 mm at the wheel , designed to absorb any roughness of the road surface.
The braking system is composed of a single floating disc of 280 mm in diameter at the front with a four-piston caliper, while at the rear of a 240 mm diameter disc and a single-piston floating caliper. The spoked wheels with aluminum alloy hub and rim are 19" at the front and 17" at the rear and are fitted with 100/90 and 140/80 tyres, respectively. The LCD instrumentation offers excellent visibility in all driving conditions, while the tank is 13 litres. And for every need during the trip, a convenient USB socket is also available.
